Dorottya House has host many major and remarkable events throughout its history – under the names Hotel Turul, Hotel Peace and finally Hotel Dorottya. We are proud to call our Mirror Hall the traditional location for the Dorottya Ball held each year at carnival season, but the house has accommodated many – now historical – political and cultural events.

The fully renovated Hotel Dorottya is also a modern events centre. The unique atmosphere and style of the house is inspiring and cosy at the same time. Having the town centre and the major traffic lines nearby makes our house perfectly suitable for any kind of events – private or corporate.

Beside the previously mentioned Dorottya Ballroom – also called Mirror Hall – the house offers two other function rooms – Csokonai Room and Rippl-Rónai Room. These offer an ideal location for smaller events, conferences or business meetings. The hotel’s Lobby bar is neighbour to the function rooms, offering an ideal and stylish spot for coffee breaks or other catering, or even some private discussions during conferences and meetings.

The rooms bear complex technical background and internet access. You can find a well sized stage in the ballroom, which is perfect for performances and concerts. The same hall has a gallery, which extends the capacity much.

The centre includes a modern, audited catering kitchen that is only serving the events and can meet all needs – from a simple coffee break up to a gala dinner.
