The Hotel Dorottya has hosted many significant and large-scale events throughout its history, formerly known as Turul Hotel, then Béke Hotel, and finally Hotel Dorottya. We are very proud that since 1960, the traditional Dorottya Ball has been held every year in the house’s special and deservedly famous Mirror Hall, but quite a few historic meetings, political and cultural events have also taken place here.

The renovated Hotel Dorottya is also a modern event center. The special atmosphere and style of the house are both inspiring and intimate. The proximity to the city center and major transportation lines makes it perfectly suitable for organizing both business and private events.

In addition to the previously mentioned Dorottya Ballroom, two new rooms – the Csokonai Hall and the Rippl-Rónai Hall – have been created, which can be used for smaller events, receptions, business meetings, and smaller conferences. The hotel’s Lobby Bar is closely connected to the event rooms, providing a pleasant and impressive environment for coffee breaks and intermediate meetings.

The halls have a complex technical background and internet access. The ballroom also has a large stage, which allows for presentations and concerts. There is also a gallery here, providing additional capacity for the hall.
