To achieve this, all our employees will do their best, but at the same time, the cooperation of our Guests is also essential. We provide assistance with our House Rules below.
CHECK-IN
Before using the Hotel’s services, the Guest is required to check-in.
The Guest receives a card as a room key, which requires the registration of the Guest(s) staying in the room.
Registration means accurately filling out the registration form on the hotel software and verifying the identity of the Guest(s). Our hotel is obliged to report to the National Tourism Data Service (NTAK), therefore it is necessary for all persons to fill it out. The following data is entered into the NTAK system: gender, year of birth, place of birth and postal code. The NTAK system is suitable for the digital processing of data belonging to statistical data groups for statistical purposes only. It does not accept or store personal data related to Guests. The presentation of an identity document is a contractual condition deemed essential by the hotel.
In the case of stateless persons and non-European Union citizens, the presentation and submission of a stateless person’s ID card or passport is mandatory by law.
By registering, the Guest agrees that the service provider will process and archive the personal data provided upon check-in for the purpose of concluding or fulfilling the contract, verifying its fulfillment, or asserting any claims within the limitation period. Furthermore, by registering, the Guest agrees that the service provider will process the personal data for the purpose of fulfilling its obligations specified in the relevant legislation (with particular regard to foreigners’ police and tourist tax) and verifying the fulfillment thereof for as long as the competent authority can verify the fulfillment of the obligations specified in the given legislation.
The provision of mandatory data by the Guest is a condition for using the Hotel service.
The scope of mandatory data: name, address, citizenship, ID card/passport number, place and date of birth.
Optional data: email address*, telephone number.
*When checking in, the Guest may declare that he/she consents to the use of the personal data provided by Liget Gasztro Kft., which operates Hotel Dorottya, for the purposes of marketing activities. Based on this consent, Liget Gasztro Kft. is particularly, but not exclusively, entitled to send the Guest its offers and other information by post, e-mail or other mail or messages.
Liget Gasztro Kft. is entitled to use the personal data of the data subject for marketing purposes until the Guest withdraws his/her consent in writing.
The rooms can be occupied from 14:00 on the day of arrival.
Earlier occupancy of the room is possible by prior arrangement, subject to availability, for which the Hotel is entitled to charge a surcharge.
CHECK OUT
On the day of departure, the Guest must leave the room with their luggage and belongings by 10:00 a.m. and hand in the chip card received at check-in at the reception. If the card is not handed in, the Hotel may charge a fee of 2,000 HUF / card.
In the event of late departure, the Hotel is entitled to charge the additional fee specified in the contract.
The Guest is obliged to pay the price for his/her stay at the Hotel, including other services used, no later than before his/her final departure from the Hotel, in the manner specified in the Hotel contract.
In case of refusal to pay for any reason, the Hotel is entitled to retain the Guest’s belongings brought into the hotel and to enforce its lien on them.
In case of departure without payment, the Hotel will enforce its claim against the Guest by filing a police report and by legal means, the costs of which will be paid by the Guest.
We would like to draw the attention of our dear Guests to the fact that our hotel will debit the Guest’s bank card or invoice the Guest for the fees for services that have subsequently arisen and not been paid for.
VISITORS
Only Guests registered at the reception may stay in the Hotel rooms.
The Guest is responsible for the behavior of his/her visitors, including any damage caused. The Hotel excludes liability for damage caused by the visitor to the Guest and/or third parties.
The Hotel charges a daily rate/rack rate for any Guest exceeding the number of people in the room reservation.
GUESTS UNDER 18
Guests under the age of 18 may only use the Hotel’s services if accompanied by a parent or with the written permission of the parent.
The child’s companions are responsible for the child’s safety and for any damage caused by the child.
No person under the age of 18 may consume alcohol on the premises of the Hotel or at its events. The parent of the person under the age of 18 or a person with legal capacity appointed by the parent is responsible for ensuring compliance with this obligation. The parent or the person with legal capacity appointed by the parent is fully responsible for the legal, moral and financial consequences of violating this obligation.
PET ACCOMODATION
No pets can be accomodated in the hotel’s area.
HOTEL EQUIPMENT AND FURNISHINGS
The Guest is obliged to use the Hotel’s equipment and facilities as intended and to preserve the integrity of his/her property.
The Guest is obliged to compensate for any damage resulting from improper use upon the Hotel’s request, but no later than before departure.
The Hotel will charge a special compensation fee for any damage caused by negligence or while intoxicated. The Hotel’s furnishings and equipment may only be removed from the Hotel’s premises with the Hotel’s prior written permission.A
Any rearrangement of the Hotel room or relocation of furniture may only be carried out by the Hotel’s staff or their designated representative.
Taking away hotel property without the Hotel’s prior written permission is a criminal offense, and in this case the Hotel will take the necessary criminal and civil legal steps.
The Guest is obliged to report any malfunction of any of the Hotel’s equipment or furnishings to the Hotel. The Guest is not entitled to repair the defect himself or attempt to repair it. The Hotel excludes liability for any resulting damage, which shall be borne by the Guest who caused the damage.
WI-FI
The hotel has a wifi system, the use of which is free of charge.
The Guest receives the wifi connection password upon check-in to the hotel, at the same time as receiving the room card. The code received must be used to connect to the HotelDorottya network.
The Hotel does not guarantee the continuous, uninterrupted operation and availability of the wifi.
The Hotel is not liable for any direct or indirect damage to the Guest’s device or its contents during or as a result of using the WiFi. The Guest uses the service at his own risk and responsibility.
SAFETY
The Hotel operates a closed-circuit camera system in the building and its external (street) and internal (courtyard) environment for the property and personal safety of the Guests and the Hotel, which continuously takes and records footage 24 hours a day.
In the event of a fire, the Guest is obliged to follow the escape route posted in the room and the instructions of the firefighter on site. Fire extinguishers are located in the Hotel corridor. In the event of a fire, the Guest is obliged to immediately alert the reception.
It is prohibited to operate your own iron, kettle, coffee maker and other electrical appliances that are not part of the usual travel necessities in the Hotel room – excluding laptops, notebooks, tablets, cameras, video cameras.
It is prohibited to use electrical appliances while taking a shower or near running water in the Hotel room, due to the risk of electric shock! The Hotel operates a closed-circuit camera system in the building and its external (street) and internal (courtyard) environment for the property and personal safety of the Guests and the Hotel, which continuously takes and records footage 24 hours a day.
KEYCARD
If the Guest loses their card during their stay at the Hotel, they must immediately inform the reception about it! Upon departure, please hand in the card at the Reception. In case of loss or damage of the key card, the compensation fee payable is 2,500 HUF / card.
THINGS THAT CANNOT BE BROUGHT INTO THE HOTEL AREA
The Hotel prohibits the import of the following items:
things classified as corrosive, flammable chemicals or substances in the applicable legislation,
things classified as flammable and/or explosive in the applicable legislation,
particularly expensive, valuable items, museum items,
fireworks, firecrackers, their parts and components,
waste, items harmful to the environment or health,
weapons, items classified as weapons,
psychotropic substances
The Hotel may, upon the prior written request of the Guest, authorize in writing the introduction of an item that is not permitted into the Hotel premises.
If the Guest brings an item that is not permitted into the Hotel premises without the prior written permission of the Hotel, the Hotel may remove it or have it removed at the expense of the Guest.
The Hotel excludes liability for damage caused by an item brought in without permission.
The Guest shall be fully legally and financially liable for all damage and injury caused by an item brought in without permission to another Guest, a third party or the Hotel.
SMOKING
Hotel Dorottya is a non-smoking hotel. Accordingly, smoking and the use of e-cigarettes are prohibited in the closed rooms of the Hotel (including the Guest Rooms), in its public areas, and in the entire open area of ??the Hotel – with the exception of the designated smoking areas.
The Hotel employees are entitled to warn the Guests and any other person staying in the Hotel area to comply with this regulation and to stop smoking or using e-cigarettes.
The Guest and any person staying in the Hotel area are obliged to comply with the regulation and to comply with any notice.
We would like to draw the attention of our Guests to the fact that we will charge an extra cleaning fee of 15,000 HUF/room to our Guests who smoke in the room despite the warning.
If the hotel is fined by the competent authority based on the relevant legislation due to the unlawful conduct of any Guest or other person staying on the premises of the Hotel, the Hotel is entitled to transfer the amount of the fine to the person who committed the unlawful conduct or to demand its payment from him/her.
“DO NOT DISTURB!” WARNING SIGN
The Hotel staff cleans the rooms continuously from 8 am. By hanging the “Do not disturb! Do not disturb” warning sign on the outside handle of the room door, the Guest firmly indicates that the Hotel staff must not disturb, knock or enter the room.
The Guest places the “Do not disturb! warning sign on the outside handle of the room door at his own responsibility and risk. If the Hotel staff finds the “ Do not disturb” warning sign on the handle of the room on the day of the Guest’s departure and the Guest does not respond to the Hotel’s phone call, the Hotel staff may enter the room at any time after 11:00 am.
In an emergency (e.g. fire, terrorist attack, etc.) without a prior phone call, or when the Hotel reasonably assumes, based on the information at its disposal, that the life, health, physical integrity, or property safety of the Guest in the room is or may be in danger, and the Guest does not respond to the Hotel’s phone call, the Hotel’s staff are entitled to enter the room.
The Hotel is not liable for any damage or injury resulting from the improper use of the “Do not disturb” warning sign.
CLEANING
The Hotel will clean the room upon request of the guest.
The following are performed during cleaning: ventilation, making the bed (if no valuables or personal items have been placed on it), emptying the trash can, wiping the toilet and shower cubicle, replacing toilet paper and toiletries.
We would like to draw the attention of our dear Guests that, for environmental reasons, the Hotel only changes the towels placed on the bathroom floor, and bed linen is changed every 4 days.
LAUNDRY, IRONING
The Hotel undertakes laundry and ironing services according to the laundry list. The laundry list and price list can be found in the room folder.
According to the Hotel’s fire safety regulations, it is forbidden to use your own iron in the room.
MINIBAR
Only products placed in the minibar by the Hotel may be used. The minibar cannot be used to cool or store the Guest’s belongings.
Consumption of products placed in the minibar is subject to a fee.
The current price list is located on top of the minibar.
Consumption from the minibar is settled by the Guest at the Reception upon departure.
PARKING
Hotel guests can park their vehicles in the uncovered and unguarded parking lot in front of the Hotel for a fee. The fee is 1,000 HUF/day, which is included in some of our offers.
There are a limited number of parking spaces available, advance reservations are not possible.
The parking lot must be driven in accordance with the provisions of the Road Traffic Act.
If the Guest wishes to use the parking lot, he must indicate the vehicle registration number on the registration form upon check-in. In case of refusal or failure to do so, the parking lot cannot be used.
The Hotel is not liable for any damage to the parked car (weather, damage caused by another vehicle, etc.).
The Guest is directly liable to the injured party for any damage caused by him to another parked car.
BREAKFAST
Breakfast is available every day between 07:00 and 10:00.
The room rate does not include breakfast. Guests can request this service at the reception upon check-in. The buffet breakfast costs HUF 3,500/person.
Breakfast is served as a buffet, meaning that there is no wait staff, and the Guest serves himself from the food and drink selections on the tables set up in the breakfast room.
The Hotel offers unlimited food consumption from the breakfast buffet, but neither food nor drink may be taken out of the breakfast room for later consumption. If the Guest takes food and/or drink out of the breakfast room for later consumption without the Hotel’s prior permission, the Hotel is entitled to charge 50% of the breakfast price/person/occasion to the Guest’s account.
DRESS CODE
We ask our guests to adhere to the general dress code.
Dress appropriately for the occasion is expected in the Hotel’s Catering unit during meals. We ask that you refrain from wearing bathrobes, slippers, or sweatpants in our restaurant.
DISRUPTIVE BEHAVIOUR
In the interest of the peace and quiet of the Guests, after 10:00 PM, loud music, noise, noisy activities, sound effects, television, radio, etc. are prohibited in the Hotel area – except in the case of events or programs organized or permitted by the Hotel.
Regardless of the time, any behavior or conduct that disturbs the peace, safety, sense of security, or privacy of others is prohibited in the Hotel area; it is or may be considered harassment and is capable of intimidating others.
A Hotel employee is entitled to warn a disruptive and/or loud Guest. The first warning is free of charge, and for the second and third warnings, the Hotel will charge the warned Guest’s room bill with 5,000 HUF each. After the third warning, the Hotel is entitled to unilaterally terminate the contract with immediate effect and to immediately expel the Guest from the hotel without any obligation to pay a refund and/or compensation.
The Hotel excludes liability for any harm caused to other Guests by the Guest’s behavior.
The Hotel is also partly a conference hotel, so at some events the Guest(s) may behave louder, use wider gestures, or react differently than usual in other places.
ILLNESS, DEATH
If the Guest becomes ill during the period of using the accommodation service and is unable to act in his own best interests, the Hotel offers medical assistance.
The Guest uses the offered medical assistance at his own responsibility and risk.
The doctor is not an employee, agent, or collaborator of the Hotel, and the Hotel excludes liability for the diagnosis, the applied therapy, or its consequences.
In the event of the Guest’s illness/death, the Hotel claims reimbursement of its costs from the patient/deceased’s relative, heir, or bill payer; in terms of possible medical and procedural costs, the value of services used prior to death, and any damage to equipment and furnishings in connection with the illness/death.
In the event of the Guest’s infectious disease, the Hotel is entitled to terminate the contract with immediate effect without refund or compensation. In this case, the Guest is obliged to leave the hotel with his/her luggage at his/her own expense within the period specified in the Hotel’s notice of cancellation. In the event of an infectious disease, the Hotel is obliged to act in accordance with Decree 18/1998. (VI. 3.) NM. (This decree prescribes what to do in the event of an infectious disease. According to the decree, if such a suspicion exists, the Hotel will call a doctor, who will determine whether the Guest is infectious or not.)
LOST AND FOUND ITEMS
Found items can be handed in at the reception, where they will be registered.
Food, food-related items, and medicines will be destroyed by the Hotel.
Items that can be stored will be kept by the Hotel for 1 month.
If the rightful owner of the found item comes forward, they can take possession of the item upon presentation of a document proving their identity.
HOTEL LIABILITY FOR DAMAGE
The Hotel is only liable to compensate for damage caused to cash, securities and valuables if the Hotel has accepted them for safekeeping or has refused to accept them for safekeeping.
The Hotel expressly reminds the Guest to place their cash, valuables and valuables in the safe in the room.
If the safe is not working or is not functioning properly, the Guest is obliged to inform the Hotel reception immediately. The Guest is liable for any damage resulting from the failure to provide information or the delay in providing information.
The Hotel is only liable for damage caused to other belongings brought in by the Guest if the damage occurred in a place normally used by the Guest or open to the Guest, for example: the hotel room, corridor, garden.
The Hotel is liable for damage or loss to the Guest’s belongings brought into the hotel – with the exception of items excluded from entry – if the valuables or movables are proven to have been brought into the Hotel’s premises or hotel room. The proof is the responsibility of the Guest.
The Hotel is liable for damage caused in this way up to a maximum of ten times the daily room rate paid by the Guest.
DATA PROTECTION
The Hotel provides information about the Guest’s current, past or future stay at the hotel to third parties, including the Guest’s close relatives, only with the prior written permission of the Guest.
This prohibition on providing information does not apply to requests based on the law.
The Guest acknowledges that the Hotel is obliged by law to provide the requesting authority with the personal data requested by the Guest in the request, if the legal conditions are met.
The Hotel may not object to the provision of data based on the law, an official or court decision.
These House Rules are valid until revoked.
